Top 25 Global Vendors in Asia Pacific

October 7, 2019

At G2, our goal is to help tech buyers around the world make better buying decisions. As organizations in the Asia Pacific region embrace technology at a rapid pace, our real-time and unbiased reviews help users objectively assess what is best for their business.

Until recently, selecting business solutions was hard, risky, and inherently biased. Technology buyers struggled to identify capable vendors to support them in the Asia Pacific region. While vendors increasingly serve global customers, the customer experience across countries and regions varies.

Top global vendors in Asia Pacific

At G2, we believe local technology buyers want to learn from both their local and global peers. That’s why we provide tools for buyers to filter reviews and rankings to see how vendors perform in their markets. As part of this initiative, today we're launching our Best Global Vendors in Asia Pacific list.

Our Best Global Vendors in Asia Pacific ranking considers user reviews from countries in the Asia Pacific region for vendors that operate globally. This is a companion list to our Best Software Companies list and our Best Software Companies in Australia & New Zealand and Best Software Companies in India lists that are currently in progress. G2 selected these vendors based on reviews from the Asia Pacific region, ranked by the vendor’s average Satisfaction by product and category, using categories that have an existing G2 Grid®. Identified vendors also needed to have a physical presence in the Asia Pacific region, with offices and employees focused on the region.

G2 data through Aug. 16, 2019.

What’s interesting about the vendors listed below is they range from global tech giants (such as Microsoft, Google, and Adobe) to growth companies like Dropbox and Receipt Bank. Whether large or small, the results of our analysis show that these vendors have delivered impressive results to their Asia Pacific customers.

We also see a range technologies covered in this list. Some are collaboration-based applications such as Slack, Zoom, and Asana, while others are infrastructure-focused like MongoDB, Mulesoft, Symantec, and AppDynamics. There is a competitive element driving results, with several head-to-head competitors both on the list. Some of these contenders include: UiPath and Automation Anywhere (RPA), Dropbox and Box (file sharing), ActiveCampaign and HubSpot (marketing automation), and Pluralsight and Udemy (technical skills development).

The importance of geographic ranking

Geographically, we see our Asia Pacific list is very different from our Global Best Software Companies list. While a number of names are in the Top 25 on both lists (Google, Adobe, Slack, Microsoft, Shopify, HubSpot, Dropbox, Freshworks, and Zoom), their positions vary greatly. Additionally, a number of organizations made our Asia Pacific list, but were ranked below the Top 25 in our global list. This highlights that even for global software products, a customer’s experience can vary depending on where and how they are using it.

Congratulations to all of the vendors that made our list and continue to deliver exceptional experiences and results to their Asia Pacific customers.
