Dr. Maria Moloney, Chief Researcher and AI Specialist at PrivacyEngine, has a doctoral degree from Trinity College Dublin in Information Systems with a specialization in privacy engineering. She is a Fullbright Scholar, and she currently provides consultative services in areas such as data protection, AI, information security, and solutions architecture. She has extensive experience in navigating complex compliance and governance frameworks, including GDPR, NIS2, and the EU AI Act, as well as various ISO standards, including ISO 27001 (Information Security), 161175 (Records Management), 27701 (Privacy Information Management), 9001 (Quality Management), 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management), and 26000 (Social Responsibility).
